The fewer classmates who know about your sordid little classroom affair, the better. Things were going fine, but suddenly..began to get clingy. How am I supposed to figure out the cosine of a triangle by myself?! You want to have your cake and eat it too, don't you? Wait until those moments when everyone walks to the elevator or across campus, and do your flirting there.
Before you ever touch each other, keep an eye out for tell-tale signs: does he call you six times a day?
You may love the idea of seeing them everyday but when that honeymoon stage is over, what are you going to do then?
Or if you break up are you prepared for the awkwardness and seeing your ex everyday?
You are seeing each other everyday, watching each others every move, it is bound to kick off. The only thing worse than a couple in your class constantly fighting is them being all over each other. It is distracting and repulsive for your fellow classmates to watch. Then, if you are spending less time together during college breaks, people might start to ask questions. After seeing each other all day, having a brief period alone and then coming together again for pre drinks, can have dire consequences.
So, once someone laughs at someone elses jokes, stops to talk to that guy/girl she once scored or simply waves at an ex, there will be trouble. Your classmates may feel violated and act out of character. You will either wear the face off one another or fight about the pettiest things. Unfortunately, there always ends up being someone who earns less money, or is scabby with it, in a relationship.
If you are very goal orientated and competitive people this is great news for you both individually. You will compete over grades and how many words each of you have done on your thesis.
